Todd Nuttall | CEO
Todd Nuttall brings more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international, finance, payments systems, technology innovation, business leadership, and business consulting to his position as Chief Executive Officer, Better ATM Services. As Vice President of Financial and Strategic Services for American Express from 1999 to 2002, Mr. Nuttall led efforts to transform payment processing, financial reconciliation and reporting in India, the U.K., and North America. He presided over disaster recovery, leading the American Express Financial Resource Center through the 9/11 recovery. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Nuttall Served as Vice President and CFO of American Express World-wide Data Operations which included oversight and reporting on technology spending approaching $1 billion annually. Prior to 1996, Mr. Nuttall’s corporate experience includes his technology leadership positions at Edge Capital Funding, Boeing Computer Systems, Ernst & Young LLP’s Phoenix-based Information Systems Assurance and Advisory Services, and Phelps Dodge Corporation.
Derek Cook | CFO
Since 2005, Mr. Cook has provided invaluable expertise with his dedication and leadership in helping to develop Better ATM™ Services from an idea to a company with proven products. As Chief Financial Officer that leadership continues as Mr. Cook has also overseen the legal aspects of Better ATM Services, Inc.’s development. A successful entrepreneur with deep experience in start-ups as well as executive and financial management, Mr. Cook is the President and Owner of 1st Integrity Mortgage, LLC, CW Motors for which he serves as President and Owner and is a majority owner of two popular restaurants in Phoenix. Current line management of these businesses perform daily activities to allow Mr. Cook to continue to devote himself to his roles as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors for Better ATM Services.
Troy Bowman | VP of Operations
Mr. Bowman brings more than 10 years experience in international business systems controls, assurance and advisory services, and technology oversight to Better ATM Services. He has provided indispensable expertise in extending the development of technological innovation and partnership and alliance development for the company. From 2001 through 2008, Mr. Bowman was a Senior Manager with High Risk Charge, KPMG LLP, leading both domestic and international efforts for medium to large-sized companies. He has experience in leading Sarbanes Oxley reviews along with SAS 70 assessments and internal audit projects. Mr. Bowman brings additional expertise as a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Microsoft Certified Professional and has led assessment and advisory efforts in the fields of: credit card processing, Indian and casino gaming, airline travel, hospitality, trucking and transportation, health care, law enforcement, mining, construction, and public utility services.
Dustin Smith | VP of Strategic Initiatives
Dustin Smith has over ten years of experience in helping entrepreneurial organizations commercialize new products and services. He joins Better ATM from PIU Management, where he helped lead the operations team to develop and implement a new set of store-level and corporate operating procedures that shaped a 200-unit children’s entertainment startup operation into a professionally managed organization. While at PIU Management, Mr. Smith was also responsible for conceptualizing and launching new product initiatives and implementing a plan to create a defensible market position for the company’s brands. Since 2003, Dustin has provided management consulting services to entrepreneurial companies, assisting with strategy development, market identification, process improvement, business plan writing, pro forma financial data creation, price structuring, and more in industries ranging from technology and entertainment to biotech and food manufacturing. Dustin graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and in 2005 with a master’s degree in Accountancy and Information Systems. He received his M.B.A. in 2007 from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
David Schnepf | VP of Marketing
Mr. Schnepf brings more than 20 years of domestic and international sales and marketing experience to his position as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. In his most recent role at Assurance America Insurance Company of Atlanta, Georgia, he was the key relationship leader over some 200 independent insurance agencies with responsibilities for establishing marketing and sales plans, goals, and information systems for tracking and managing performance. Mr. Schnepf’s initiatives resulted in a greater than 100% increase of sales in his territory and drove major increases in the quality of fulfillment of those sales resulting in increased profit margin assurance. In previous positions, he introduced new programs into multiple states and executed initiatives to enter new markets.

Daniel R. Oberan | Founder
Mr. Oberan is the founder of Better ATM Services and brings extensive experience in improvement of systems that deliver products, tactical planning, and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the business of the organization, Before founding Better ATM Services, Mr. Oberan co-owned and managed a financial direct marketing firm, ALCD, providing counsel to more than 140,000 customers. Mr. Oberan’s background also includes purchasing and materials management in the aeronautics industry. Currently, Mr. Oberan is pursuing diverse business interests while continuing to provide counsel to Better ATM Services.
Dan Behrendt | Board Member
Mr. Behrendt is a skilled CFO familiar with the requirements of publicly traded companies and the complexities of high technology ventures. He has handled turnaround situations and has provided senior corporate leadership contributing to strategic initiatives that have yielded significant growth during his 9 years of leadership at TASER, which has become the preferred electronic weapons system for over 18,000 law enforcement entities in 40 countries. Dan’s extensive corporate expertise has been built on senior positions with high tech companies including Teledyne, PCC Airfoils, and Babcock and Wilcox. He has also worked with Arthur Anderson and Company.
Howard Green | Board Member
Mr. Green has been instrumental in major turning points for products, technologies and the marketing of telecommunications and technology companies. His international and domestic experience features senior executive positions for globally recognized companies including IBM, Apple, and Sprint. An expert in venture backed start-ups, he has led global sales alliances with domestic and international organizations, creating franchise markets for internationally recognized product lines including Apple’s QuickTime multimedia technologies, as well as building capacities for product management and engineering. He has served on the Board of Directors of Apple/ISS, a joint research initiative with the government of Singapore, and is the founder of the Apple Business Consortium.
Sam M. Ditzion
Sam M. Ditzion is the founder and CEO of Boston-based Tremont Capital Group, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of strategic planning and consulting, research, valuation, litigation support, and mergers and acquisitions advisory services to the ATM industry and overall self-service sector. An accomplished author and recognized expert in financial services routinely sought out by prestigious media organizations including the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and Forbes, Mr. Ditzion has extensive strategic planning and M&A advisory experience within the overall financial services, retail banking, and ATM/self-service sectors and has advised both domestic and international companies about market entry strategies. He has advised financial institutions, non-bank ATM operators, hedge funds, private equity firms, law firms, ATM and kiosk manufacturers, payment processors, ATM and kiosk maintenance providers, and armored service companies on a range of industry issues and has been involved in many high-profile M&A transactions. He has also conducted extensive research and analyses in the areas of advanced functionality ATM and kiosk consumer preferences, frequently speaks at industry conferences, and has briefed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and United States Secret Service on financial crimes.
Andy S. Aziz
Mr. Aziz has more than 29 years of experience in corporate banking operations and management. He is currently the Executive Vice President of True Payroll Integration (TPI), a National Payroll Service Bureau that caters to small and medium size businesses as well as Private Label Payroll Operations for small local Banks. Previously, Mr. Aziz’s impressive career includes leadership positions at start-up organizations for bill payment and check processing companies to operational roles at well-established enterprise banks in New York. Mr. Aziz has served as Treasurer at Chase Manhattan Bank, Operations Officer at Chemical Bank and Union Trust Company, Vice President of Global Banking Operations for Broker Processing Service, Inc. (BPS), ACH/Billing Manager at Engyro Inc., Processing Team Leader at Heller Financial Inc., and other managerial and supervisory roles for back office banking operations. Mr. Aziz also served as Director of Banking for CheckFree Corporation (formally American Payment Systems), a walk-in bill payment company, where he consulted for the development of an electronic transaction system that processes 1.2 million transactions and moves over $12 billion annually through retail locations nationwide.
James R. Schroepfer
Mr. Schroepfer is a former director of Better ATM Services who joined the Board of Advisors when new career pursuits did not permit him to continue to serve in that capacity. He is the principal of Schroepfer Services, LLC, a financial consulting firm that assists both public and private entities in various capacities, including financial modeling and due diligence relative to potential mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Schroepfer’s experience also includes his role as Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded technology company as well as positions in public accounting with both regional and national accounting firms. Mr. Schroepfer is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Peter Friend
Mr. Friend is the founder and President of Pier 35 Events, Inc., through which he launched the Travelocity Gift Card program as the exclusive licensee of the Travelocity Brand for Gift Cards, Incentives, and Promotions and owns and operates the www.travelocityincentives.com web site, which is the redemption web site for Travelocity hotel gift cards. He pioneered the introduction of individual incentive travel by online travel companies to the incentive, gift card, and promotional products industry. His expertise in the prepaid card industry includes card design, processing, development of XML interface with booking engines, merchandising, and marketing. Prior to entering the prepaid card industry, Mr. Friend was President of Friend Hotel Investments from 1990-2005 where he owned and operated hotels under license from Radisson Corporation, Starwood Hotels, Best Western, and Intercontinental Hotels and acquired, developed, renovated, and converted several hotels throughout the U.S. as an owner, management company, and consultant during his 15-year career in the hospitality industry.
