- For Better ATMTM Services’ Phase I technology, Host based ATMs require little software modification by the ATM Manufacturer to properly dispense Gift Cards. Better ATMTM Services can work with your engineers to certify Gift Card and prepaid media and to determine changes to the screen flow.
- For Better ATMTM Services’ Phase II technology, Host based ATMs require additional modifications to interface with Better ATMTM Services’ Gift Card activation system. ATMs also require an additional hardware device to properly capture Gift Card information. Better ATMTM Services has relationships with several hardware device manufacturers and is able to negotiate a more competitive rate than a single manufacturer can achieve. Better ATMTM Services is ready to assist ATM Manufacturers on a number of levels. We will work with you to ensure software and hardware requirements are identified in the planning phases and to test the functionality in the QA stages, as we have helpful insight based on our experiences with other manufacturers, beta projects, pilot projects, and research projects. 3. What do I do if the ATMs we manufacture are Client based (smart terminals)?
- For Better ATMTM Services’ Phase I technology, Client based ATMs require software screen flows and menu modifications by the ATM Manufacturer to properly dispense Gift Cards. Better ATMTM Services can work with your engineers to certify the Gift Card and prepaid media and to coordinate with your software engineers to direct the changes to the screen flows and menu modifications.
- For Better ATMTM Services’ Phase II technology, client-based ATMs require additional modifications to interface with Better ATMTM Services’ Gift Card activation system. ATMs also require an additional hardware device to properly capture Gift Card information. Better ATMTM Services has relationships with several hardware device manufacturers and is able to negotiate a more competitive rate than a single manufacturer can achieve. Better ATMTM Services is ready to assist ATM Manufacturers in a number of ways. 4. How do we become a certified ATM Manufacturer?
- Once your ATM model has been equipped for Better ATMTM Services’ Phase I or Phase II technology and tested by Better ATMTM Services, you will be added to the certified ATM manufacture list that is posted on our website.
