Better ATM® Services has a patent for the distribution of Gift Cards and prepaid media from the ATM as well as several other patents pending surrounding our technology. Better ATM® Services has certified ATM models and dispensers from several manufacturers including Diebold, Triton and NCR. Wincor Nixdorf ATMs have been extensively tested and we’re actively working with the manufacturers to certify additional models in their product lines. We are available to discuss how we can address your specific needs.
No, Better ATM® Services has worked with each ATM manufacturer to obtain certification for their ATMs and dispensers so you can be assured they are capable of dispensing prepaid media, which does not void the warranty.
1. Call Better ATM® Services and let us know of your interest. We can help walk you through the process. 2. Decide on the prepaid media offerings. Better ATM® Services offers ATM-dispensed Visa Gift Cards and a multi-brand card with nationally recognized brands that you can sell from your ATM. 3. Opt for pre-denominated or variable load cards. To get started, you need to decide on a pre-denominated value or variable value Gift Card. Variable value cards have no assigned value until your customers choose the amount they wish to load on the card. 4. Configure your ATM. Your ATMs may require hardware and software adjustments to dispense prepaid media. In addition, some screen changes will need to occur. The menu options will be updated in this process. 5. Coordinate with your Processor/Driver. Because a prepaid media purchase is a Point-of-Sale transaction, the ATM must be configured correctly to interface with the processor to properly execute the transaction. Better ATM® Services has experience in working with Processor/Drivers to properly configure the ATM and we’ll provide the Processor/Driver with the information they need to configure their systems. 6. Load the ATM with prepaid media. Some minor cassette configurations are required when loading prepaid media. Better ATM® Services has support documentation to aid you in this process. We’re willing to train your support team, if needed.
Several ATM processors are able to handle prepaid media transactions. In fact, several more are in the process of making the necessary changes to their systems to execute the transactions. ANI, CDS, and Elan (South Platform) are able to handle your transactions. In addition, we are working with a number of others. Contact Better ATM® Services for specifics.
